Guest attending meeting: MINDS ON- Marylou Town and Alison Miller, presented their programs for 4th and 5th graders Math and Science workshops.

ACTION ITEMS

AGENDA TOPIC

#1: Funding was approved for printers contribution by PTO $200.00. District stated they are paying for ink.

Funding request were discussed from Music for Ukuleles $250.00 Suggest was made by Karen Carlson to have MAC pay half of this request.

Funding was approved for Foreign Language Club-down payment for NYC Bus trip to see Phantom of the Opera in the amount of $100.00. Funding also approved for crafts for the club to enhance their study of foreign celebrations (French and Spanish) totalling $150.00.

Funding approved for request for Owl Pellets for 4th grade.

Funding was discussed request received by Mrs. McCauliffe for the Salem Art Workshop in the amount of $200.00- was approved. Also request for Kiln- further discuss and suggestions needed.

#2: Save Around Books- out now, due back 12/5.

Mix Bag Designs, fundraiser has ended, was successful. Thank you to everyone who supported.

#3: Halloween Night/Book Fair Buying Night-recap on how this did. Discussions will be made at further meetings, about events at the Halloween night.      

#4: Fall Movie Night- Date set for December 9th @ 6:30- A movie was voted on and chosen at this meeting and it will be  “Toy Story”. Chair for this event will be Dehlia Northrup with help Janelle Johnson and Tracy Beaudoin.

Zillah Herrington-We had a few volunteers for this, Michaeline Pashley, Mackenzie Ricciardone, Kristin Schram, and Kristin Wohlfahrt. Further discuss will need to be had, possible sub committee?

Writing Olympics-new chair, Erin Coffin

Screen Free Week- new chair, Ericka Silverman
